So I was reading Arizona Coffee today and there was a posting about a coffee shop and its service. People have posted their comments on their experiences at the establishment the last twenty years. Someone posted about the justification for what appeared to be bad customer service and I started thinking about it.

Today I have the Sanyo Memo Scriber from 1985. Records onto cassette tapes and plays them back at varying speeds. It has a nifty handheld recorder and weighs about 20lbs. I am recording over Dr. Wayne Deyer’s self help tape.

So I was introduced to a new word today by my cousin, Spencer. The word is “sesquipedalian” which is a word for a person who uses long words.
I am truly enamored by this word in that by using it you immediately become the definition. What other word in the entire english language can do such a thing. I am taking suggestions. I do know that this word isn’t exactly English, but it is acceptable to use in the English Language. The technical latin meaning is “a foot and a half long.”
Now technically the word doesn’t have to pertain to just other words, but its “common” usage in English does. So there you have it. The most amazing word in the language. Expect to hear it in my common day speech.

So I have recently taken a full-time position working for the school district doing IT. I am enjoying it as it is not terribly difficult to be productive and everything is fairly cut and dry. I have mentioned this earlier, but a new problem is starting to emerge.
I have not given up on doing design, but I think my ideas about it are starting to change. Working with clients is a difficult thing and it doesn’t really allow me to pursue the things I really want to do. That said, I am trying to figure out how to balance what I want to do with what I need to do.
