So I have been hearing about this for the last few months and I decided that I am going to go. I don’t really know what my thoughts are entirely on it or how it is all going to work, but it sounds very very cool. The whole event is about whats considered “new media” which is basically a post-modern look at the way media has been done. So the event will be a bunch of discussions on things like pod casting, life casting, video casting, and perhaps fly fishing.
So i think what with me running a few blogs and getting WAY heavy into online video I would probably benefit from this. Plus a bunch of people i know are going to be there. And after the way that the Viddler meetup went I am very excited to hang out with that crowd again. (Though they will not all be there) But I also am keen to actually meet Brent from IBoughtAMac who I very briefly shook hands with on friday.
Justine from Tasty Blog Snack will be there who is a viddler regular and has been featured on many of the video sites like YouTube and MySpace and way more. Also the guy from Ask A Ninja will be there. Those two alone make it totally worth while.

I saw a few people there that i knew already and handful of people that I had communicated with online. I’ll definitely be there next year. Perhaps I will have gleaned enough information to speak next time.
